Bloom Through It: what happens in our wellness workshops

October 9, 2026 · by Nicole Leduc

Bloom Through It is the workshop closest to my heart — a 90-minute session built for recovery groups, community programs, and anyone who needs a soft place to land. Here's what actually happens in the room.

We start slow. No one is asked to share anything or perform anything. Seats are set up, supplies are waiting, and the first ten minutes are just settling in.

Then we paint — together, not alone. I guide the whole thing step by step, but this isn't about technique. Making something with your hands gives your mind somewhere gentle to be. Hands busy, head quiet.

In the middle, three quiet questions. As the paint dries, I offer prompts you can think about, journal about, or completely ignore:

  • What am I growing through?
  • What am I becoming?
  • What do I want to cultivate in my life?

Nobody has to answer out loud. Ever. The questions are just there if you want them.

We close by looking at what we made. Not critiquing it — just noticing it. Ninety minutes ago it was a blank canvas; now it exists because you showed up.

That's the whole thing. No experience necessary, no sharing required, all materials included — and every group leaves with a room full of proof that they can make something out of a hard day.

If you run a program that could use a session like this, read more and get in touch.
